Privacy policy

Aramex Australia handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information we collect

We collect sender and receiver names, delivery addresses, contact details, parcel details and delivery records so that parcels can be collected, transported and delivered within Australia and overseas.

How we use it

Personal information is used to provide delivery services, confirm deliveries, respond to enquiries, investigate claims, meet legal obligations and improve our Australian operations.

Who we share it with

Information is shared with the courier or depot delivering the parcel, and where a parcel travels overseas, with the carrier and customs authorities in the destination country. We do not sell personal information.

Tracking information

Public tracking shows only delivery progress — status, route locations and timestamps. Sender and receiver contact details and internal notes are never shown on public tracking pages.

Storage and security

Records are stored on access-controlled systems, with permissions limited to staff who need them to perform their role.

Access and correction

You can request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@aramexau.com or submitting an enquiry through our contact page.

Complaints

Privacy complaints are investigated by our Australian team. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
